    The last time this building was occupied full-time by grades 4th-6th was the 2009 and 2010 school year. Since closing its doors, the school district saved $190,000. Superintendent, Dick Orcutt says,
    The JWP school board voted 4 to 2 Monday to sell the building for $1 to the Southern Minnesota Chamber of Commerce.

A 42 year old man from Lamberton has died in a fatal rollover.
 
Brett Vanmeveren died after losing control of his vehicle on 110th street in redwood County. Ambulance and fire department crews were dispatched to the scene but Vanmeveren died as a result of the crash. No other vehicles were involved.
