BLUE EARTH, Minn. -

Blue Earth Police along with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension have identified the man they believe stormed in to a home and bludgeoned four people - leaving one man dead.

Authorities Monday night arrested Brian Daniel Freeman, 29, of Ceylon.  He was booked in to the Faribault County Jail. Charges are expected within the next few days.

Investigators say Freeman is the husband of one of the victims -  Candice Marie Freeman, 38, of Ceylon.  She, along with their daughter, 19 year old daughter Brittany Kay Devary and Freeman's 15-year-old daughter were found seriously injured. The Freeman's six-year-old daughter was found in the home unharmed. A 37-year-old man was found deceased. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy Tuesday. Cause and manner of death as well as formal identification of this victim will be made once the autopsy is complete.

Police responded to the home at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Monday following a 911 call from an unidentified person inside the home reporting a disturbance. Investigators believe that Brian Freeman entered the home wearing a mask and bludgeoned the victims using a tool or tools. Investigators are working to locate the weapon.
