On the board or in the hole, everyone was winning at this years fourth annual Bag Toss for the Red Cross in Mankato.
Hot 96.7's Stunt Monkey and Johnny marks and myself even joined in the fun event to help raise money for our local red cross chapter. I told him I wouldn't rub it in but my team won best out of 3. The event today was supported by players and many local businesses raking in close to 8,000 dollars.
American Red Cross South Central Minnesota Chapter Executive Director Bob Meyer says, "This is an event that grows every year. Next year we're already planning for that one and we have some surprises in store. Again it always goes back to what we're doing with the funds and that's investing them back in our local community. Making sure that those that are hurt and hurting are taken care of by the friends at the American red Cross."
First place winners from today's games took home $300 in prizes.
