Mankato Public Safety is investigating after a man is found early this morning lying on the ground with head injuries. Authorities say it happened just after 2:30 a.m. They found the victim, reported to be in his twenties on the ground on the 200 block of Tanager Road. He was transported to the hospital.No weapons were discovered. The investigation is ongoing. The number to call if you have more information is 507-387-8780.
