Trapped sewer gas is to blame for a home explosion in Freeborn, Minnesota.
We told you last Friday that an explosion destroyed a house owned by Ralph Yotter. Yotter was seriously injured and airlifted to a Twin Cities hospital. The Freeborn Fire Chief tells News 12 that the investigation found that sewer gas entered the home after Yotter moved some appliances and didn't cap the drain line. The gas sparked when Yotter turned on a light switch.
