Level 3 sex offender, Gregory Eugene Ward, will not be moving to Mankato on Monday. That is all the information Mankato Police are releasing at this time.

There are currently over 100 predatory offenders living in Blue Earth County but if you want to find out where it may take quite a bit of work. That's because only level 3 sex offenders are listed on the Department of Corrections website.

Mankato already has 116 sex offenders living here but those are level 1 and level 2.

Mankato Public Safety Commander Matt DuRose says, "Level two offenders are not public information, only level 3 are. You'll find that in other states all predatory offenders are listed on the websites but that's something that the state of Minnesota currently does not have."
