Moondogs Drop Opener To Willmar

The Willmar Stingers jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning against the Mankato Moondogs on Friday night. Mankato answered with two runs of their own in the home half of the first. Willmar would take the lead with a run in the fourth and then extend it to five with two homeruns in the fifth. The Dogs would try to rally in the ninth, but come up short losing 10-4.
