Carnival rides and cotton candy have arrived at the 152nd annual Faribault County Fair.

Despite the heat animals in petting barns were kept cool with fans and lots of water.

The Noahs Ark petting zoo has over 40 animals and owner JoAnna says they're just excited to be here as the kids.

JoAH's Ark Pony Parties and Petting Zoo JoAnna Olson says, "I mean they just love to just jump in the trailer because they know we're going. You know they love the attention and they're really good with the kids."

One young fair goer says his favorite part of the fair is...

"Seeing the animals," says Miles Martig.

On top of the adorable furry friends people can check out tractors, fair food and rides.

The fair runs through Saturday July 21st at the Faribault county fair grounds in Blue Earth.
