A woman is dead after an apparent drowning Sunday in Owatonna's Lake Kohlmier. This is the second drowning on the lake since the city decided to get rid of the lake's lifeguards.

Lots of excitement at the Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota Wednesday night.
When asked, "What's your favorite thing here?," 4-year-old Malia Karau says, "Playing."
From 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., it was the museum's first-ever Family Summer Fun Night. For this event kids of all ages and their parents got in for free. Admission is usually $5.
And a big crowd took advantage of the great deal.
Sue Larsen, Impact Coordinator at the Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota, says, "We've had well over 200 visitors this evening. We actually ran out of frozen yogurt that was donated by Frozen Yogurt Creations."
The Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota is currently at its temporary location downtown Mankato and is in discussion with the city council to secure a permanent home.
