The 10kato Memorial Day Run and Walk will be held on May 27. Now in its 17th year, the event normally starts at 9. But this year, to be respectful of Memorial Day activities, the race will start at 8:30.

MANKATO, MN -
A Winnebago man faces five felony counts of criminal sexual conduct. Larry Joe Decker, Jr., age 41, was in Blue Earth County Court on Thursday.
According to the criminal complaint, Decker had sexual contact with a 16 year–old girl that he knew. The alleged abuse took place over several years. The victim says she told her mother about a year ago, but her mother didn't believe her and accused her of lying.
Each count Decker faces carries a maximum penalty of 30 years in jail and a $40,000.00 dollar fine. Decker is due in court again on August 9th.
