An apparent drowning in North Iowa takes the life of a Colorado woman.
The Dickinson County sheriff says Jennifer Galagher, 46, of Denver, Colorado, disappeared Monday night and was reported missing Tuesday morning. Divers responded to West Lake Okoboji.
Authorities say a family member found Galagher a short time later underneath a nearby dock. Authorities responded and pronounced her dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by the Dickinson County Sheriff's Office.
