Ann Romney Stumps for Mitt in Tampa

Posted: Updated:
Tampa, FL -

The morning after delivering her speech to the Republican National Convention, Ann Romney was campaigning for her husband, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, at the Women for Romney breakfast in Tampa, Florida.

Janna Ryan, the wife of Romney's vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan, was also in attendance at the fundraising breakfast.
Ann Romney told the crowd she had told her husband he had to run again after asking him if it was too late to fix America.

Ann Romney said,  "We're the ones that have to have and budget a family household. We are also the ones that love our children and our grandchildren. We are the ones that are not gonna leave a legacy of debt to them for our recklessness from this what we're doing in this generation. And that is part of the reason why I said to Mitt, 'You've got to do this again.'

Mrs. Romney was joined on stage with 11 of her 18 grandchildren at the conclusion of her breakfast address.

Wednesday night, former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice and Senator John McCain will address the convention.
