A semi truck and its load are stolen from a Courtland trucking company.
According to the Nicollet County Sheriff's office, a rig belonging to American Midwest Transportation left Minnesota on Thursday night.
It was bound for Garland, Texas. It never arrived, and was reported missing Tuesday, September 4th.
Investigators used the company's GPS tracking system to find the trailer in Waco, Texas on Tuesday, September 4th. Its load was found in tact. Later Tuesday night, the tractor was found at a truck stop in Waco, as well. According to the Nicollet County Sheriff's office, the tractor's GPS system was disabled.
Authorities believe the suspect - who was an employee of American Midwest Transportation, may have family in Texas. However, the suspect's current location is unknown. Nicollet County authorities are in the process of issuing a warrant for his arrest.
