Waterville–Elysian–Morristown's Shayna Kinniry may be short for middle hitter, but her play more than makes up for lack of size on the volleyball court.

Kinniry has recorded 76 kills in the Buccaneers 8–1 start.

That included her 500th career kill in the first game of the season...an accomplishment she's honored to have.

While the senior excels on offense, she is also a standout defender, recording 18 ace blocks on the front line and 36 digs playing in the back row.

If Kinniry keeps up her play, the Bucs have a chance to go far in the playoffs.
