Brady Krusemark has been working with the lancers as an assistant director for the past two seasons, and has now been promoted to director.
The Lancers have been a tradition in Mankato for 34 years.
Krusemark says he's excited to serve the community in this way.
Krusemark says, "It's something that I'm really passionate about. And the Lancers, being a former Lancer, I know what a great program it is. And I'm just really honored to be able to serve the students in this area in that capacity."
Krusemark is the current band director at West High School.
Before coming to West, he served as an instrumental music director for Waconia Public Schools.
