Saint Mary's Anderson Q-Bs Knights To 3-0 Start

Posted: Updated:

Jordan Anderson quarterbacked Sleepy Eye Saint Mary's to its first state appearance since 1988 last year.
This season, Anderson is continuing that success helping Saint Mary's to a 3-0 start, ranked 3rd in class 1-A.

Anderson's passing ability can stretch the field throwing 60 yards in the air if needed, but teams have to respect his running as well.
His senior campaign is backing that with 245 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns, to go along with 802 yards through the air and another four scores.

Anderson asks his line what plays are working during games, so if they don't like the play called they can come up with something that will work.

Anderson thinks the Knights can make another run to state now that he knows what it takes to win at that level.

Anderson says Saint Mary's can stay undefeated as long as they keep a balanced attack, and with his dual threat ability, that could be for quite awhile.
That's why he's our KEYC Scheels All-Sports Boys Prep Athlete of the Week.
