MANKATO , MINN. -

A Mankato man is in jail and another hospitalized after an early morning assault.

The Mankato Department of Public Safety says Anthony James Haga was arrested for allegedly beating a 28-year-old man.

Police say they were called to the Kwik Trip gas station on Stoltzman Road around 1:30 Saturday morning. That's where they found the man who had been hurt

Police say no weapon was involved.

21-year-old Haga is now awaiting formal charges at the Blue Earth County Jail.
