Saint Peter has seen plenty of success in its girls basketball and track teams in recent years but the volleyball team has fallen a little short.
News 12 Sports Erick Lind says that is until this season with senior Tailor Raymond helping the Saints to an 8–4 mark with four straight wins coming into the week.

Tailor Raymond is known for her double–doubles on the Saint Peter basketball team, but this fall the Saints lone starting senior, is recording the feat on the volleyball court on a nightly basis.
Raymond has impressive career numbers on the volleyball court with 947 kills, 705 digs, 455 assists, and 148 ace serves.
While those are great individual numbers, Raymond is more concerned about the team's success.
The Saints are nearly on top of the South Central Conference already with a 4–1 conference record good for second place.
Raymond says a lot has gone right this year for the team, better blocking, hitting and serving.
A lot of that is thanks to the work she put in with the younger players during the offseason.
Raymond says her biggest personal goal for the year is to break a thousand kills.
That should happen in the next couple of weeks, that's why she's our KEYC Scheels All–Sports Girls Prep Athlete of the Week.
