NORTH MANKATO, Minn. -
Highway 14 in North Mankato is back open tonight. The barricades were taken down around one o'clock this afternoon... allowing traffic to once again flow freely.
This is the first phase of the construction project that will eventually turn about two miles of highway 14 into four lanes. It will also add an interchange AND turn existing Highway 14 into a frontage road between County Road 6 and County Road 41.
Construction cones will be back out when the work resumes in spring.
