Legislation that would freeze tuition rates at Minnesota public colleges and universities has been ratified. It's now up to Governor Mark Dayton to decide if it becomes law.

It was a beautiful day to go biking, running, and even ride in a hot air balloon. The Remax Hot Air Balloon was inflated next to the MSU Football stadium. The event was put on by MSU's student programming board, IMPACT. But only a few students got to ride in the balloon. IMPACT held a raffle earlier this fall for the opportunity of a lifetime! Student Activities Board member Nicole Marella says, "We try to do creative different events that you don't usually do at a campus and we haven't had a hot air balloon here so we thought why not bring a hot air balloon."
Today the winners were able to bring a friend with them and ride up in the balloon.
