Baseball has its first triple crown winner in 45 years. Miguel Cabrera finished as the leader in the American League in batting average, homeruns, and RBI's. The last time anyone finished atop all three categories was in 1967. Cabrera received a standing ovation when he left the field during the Detroit Tigers game against the Kansas City Royals. Cabrera also helped lead the Tigers to a first place division finish.
