Work will begin Monday on a stretch of Highway 14 that has proven to be dangerous.

Drivers should expect delays on the highway from Nicollet to North Mankato.

Crews will be working on an interim safety project to reduce head–on crashes.

Drivers are asked to travel with caution and watch for flagging operations.

The project will restripe the road surface and includes an eight–foot median with tube delineators that will make motorists more aware of the center of the roadway.

The project is expected to be complete in November.
