Drivers can expect a detour on Highway 14 beginning Monday, west of Sleepy Eye.

Crews will be working on the railroad crossing by Del Monte.

The detour consists of Brown County Road 27 and 280th Avenue and will be in place about two weeks.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation and Trackworks of Sleepy Eye are working together on the track improvements that will make the crossing smoother and safer.
