MANKATO, MN -

Halloween may be more than three weeks away, but tonight you can expect to see quite a few zombie fans around downtown Mankato. Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie will be playing at the Verizon Wireless Center tonight. The concert is expected to have roughly four-thousand attendees. Deputy director of public safety Matt Westermayer says the police are well prepared for the event by planning ahead as they do for all big events at the arena. Westermayer says," We anticipate things will go well. We have four officers that are hired to staff the event and we're not expecting any issues at this point."

Police will also increase patrol personnel in the surrounding area. The Verizon Wireless Center also hires out a separate security force from the Twin Cities for all its concerts.
