A change to the so-called "slayers bill" has passed the Minnesota State Senate this afternoon. The House version of the bill, sponsored by State Rep. Tony Cornish (R-Good Thunder), was driven by a local murder case.

The list and memories go on and on. Over the years, Sandy Youngblom has taken more than 200 kids and adults on 14 different mission trips. Sandy says, "I just have a heart for service. I love mission trips. And I try to teach the kids to love it to through mission trips." But her work helping others elsewhere, begins by making a difference in her own community of Wells. Sandy says, "We go on what I call SLAs, Surprise Love Attacks. We go and just cheer people up. We have had several kids in our community diagnosed with cancer, so we just try to help them. We also bake cookies and sing at different places in town." Taking care of others at home and away, Sandy Youngblom, one of Lisa's Lights.
