
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) _ Eriah Hayes scored the tying goal with 2:14 to play Saturday, lifting Minnesota State, Mankato to a 2-2 tie with Alabama-Huntsville in men's college hockey.
The Chargers (0-1-1) took a 1-0 lead on Curtis deBruyn's goal in the first and went up 2-1 on Craig Pierce's goal in the second. They took the lead deep into the third period despite being outshot 53-24.
John Griggs made 51 saves for Alabama-Huntsville. He had 37 in Friday's 4-1 loss.
Johnny McInnis had the other goal for the Mavericks (1-0-1) early in the second period.
Stephon Williams made 22 stops in net for MSUM.
