Three Eagles Communications hopes to ease hunger in our area this year with its annual "Stuff A Truck" fundraiser. Teaming up with ECHO food shelf the radio station is collecting non–perishable food items to fill this semi truck. People who donate will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a Craftsman snow blower. Program Director for KYSM Jessica Wenk says one of the great things about this fundraiser is that all the donations stay local. Wenk says, "This is going to be used by people in Southern Minnesota. Families you know we're all just a couple paychecks away from needing the ECHO food shelf and so the fact that it's there and we can keep those shelves stocked is fantastic."
Last year they donated more than 20,000 pounds of food through their fundraiser. The station has held this event for over 20 years.
