Duluth, MN -

Homeowners in Duluth received some welcome news recently, after being hit hard with heavy flooding.

A $500,000 grant has been issued to help those still recovering from the flash floods back in June.

The flooding damaged 1,700 homes in the area.

The grant announced is from the Margaret A. Cargill Foundation of Eden Prairie. It is the largest single outside donation to help recovery efforts in the region.
