The Mankato Department of Public Safety says an arrest has been made in connection to that high speed chase involving a stolen car on Sunday.
Police say a 13-year-old boy from Mankato has been arrested for fleeing police in a motor vehicle, criminal damage to property, driving with no Minnesota drivers license and reckless driving. The Department of Public Safety says officers arrested the boy at 11:15am Monday.
It all stems from an incident Sunday night, when police Officers first spotted a speeding car at 3rd Avenue and Maxwell. Police determined it was a stolen vehicle from North Mankato. After a short pursuit, the car crashed into some trees in the 1300 block of 5th Avenue. The suspects fled the scene.
The other juvenile believed to be involved has not been located.
