The Minnesota State Patrol has confirmed, 25-year-old Friedrich Statz was killed around 8 last night, when his car collided with a tractor trailer at the intersection of old Highway 14 and County Road 27 near Waseca. We do know that Statz was a football coach in the Waseca School District. This information just being officially released. We'll have updates for you and reaction from the school community tonight on News 12 at 5, 6, and 10.
