Four More High School Standouts Commit To College

MANKATO, MN -

It's a big day for four of our Girls high school athletes from Mankato who signed letters of intent to attend the college of their choice next fall.
At East high school basketball standout Melissa-Childress-Frederick signed with the University of Detroit-Mercy, where she will join the back court next season with the Titans...fellow Cougar and hockey star, Savanah Quant,a real leader on the ice, was also on hand today at East to sign her national letter of intent to play next fall for the Mavericks of MSU-Mankato.
 
At Mankato West; Melissa Elkins and Jessica Goerger signed to play college softball, Elkins, a strike-out specialist will pitch for the Wolves of Northern State University.

Goerger who hit home runs and played first base for the Scarlets softball team, inked the dotted line to play next season for the Huskies at St. Cloud State.
