The MSU football team is resting up and preparing for their upcoming division two playoff game against Harding or Northwest Missouri State.
The Mavericks found out Sunday that they had earned the top seed in their region, giving them a first round bye.
The team is glad to have the week off after playing and winning for each of the last eleven.
The Mavs are also happy that they don't have to travel and look forward to the homefield advantage of Blakeslee Stadium.
The players feel they are improving each week and aren't concerned about who they will host.
MSU will host its first playoff game November 25th with a 12 noon kickoff at Blakeslee Stadium.
