NEW ULM, Minn. -
A New Ulm man who bilked two local organizations out of thousands of dollars enters a guilty plea to two felony counts.
Robert Reinhart admitted to two felony theft charges in Brown County Court.
The other counts against him were dismissed.
Earlier this year, authorities say Reinhart embezzled funds from the New Ulm Baseball Association and the Brown County Agricultural Society.
The Brown County attorney says Reinhart was ordered to, and did pay restitution to both organizations totaling about $80,000.
"The important thing here was that we wanted to hold Mr. Reinhart accountable for his actions, and also to make sure that these nonprofit organizations were made whole," said Robert Hinnenthal, Brown County attorney.
Reinhart will be back in court for sentencing on December 31st.
