MANKATO, MN -
Remember that movie that was filmed in Le Center? Well, it's now showing at Ostrander Auditorium.
Producers Jeff Traxler and Sergeant Kyle O'Malley, of Le Center hosting a free public screening of 'Memorial Day'. A member of the original "Band Of Brothers" told the audience what the film means to him. Herb Suerth, Jr., said,"The 'Band of Brothers' or 'E Company' as we call it - we've had a reunion every year since we got out of the service. Make these guys when they come home not lose track of who they served with. They're the only people that understand what you or that other guy went through."
Producers hope the film, will encourage military veterans to share their experiences more. The movie was made with only $1.2 Million and A LOT of help from friends. LeCenter, Mankato and Montgomery are all featured locations. 'Memorial Day' will run at 7:00 PM through Saturday at MSU Mankato's Ostrander Auditorium.
