President Obama made history twice, within a matter of hours, on a trip to Southeast Asia. It's the President's first foreign trip since being re-elected. President Obama met with Southeast Asian leaders at a summit in Cambodia. He is looking to reinforce U.S. economic and political ties in a region where China has huge influence. It's the first time an American President has visited Cambodia. But the White House made it clear the President was only there to attend the conference - not to endorse the Cambodian government. Protesters called on President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to press Cambodia's leader to stop human rights violations in the country. Hours earlier the President received a much warmer welcome on the streets of Burma. Crowds chanted 'Obama' ....as they watched the first US President in history visit their country. President Obama met with fellow Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi. She helped lead the fight against military rule in Burma and is now a member of congress. Obama said Burma's remarkable journey toward democracy has just begun. The President said change can happen quickly in a country if people believe their voices are heard.
