It's so they will taste better.

It's all the idea of Huang Deming, a pig farmer from China's central Hunan province who believes that the exercise will give the pigs leaner meat, which he can sell at a higher price.

The ritual, which Huang hopes will attract more visitors to his native Guanshan village, is performed at least three times a day, and sometimes as many as 30 times.
