Some local residents started their day bright and early this morning and laced up their running shoes for a good cause.
It's the second annual Gobble Wobble 5-K in North Mankato, where runners have the chance to eat a delicious Thanksgiving meal guilt free. But more importantly the proceeds and food items collected at the race will be donated to the ECHO food shelf, and organizers are exited for the large turnout.
Organizer of the Gobble Wobble 5-K, Becky Brudwick says, "We're looking forward to bigger numbers, more fun, a lot of people are coming out so more donations."
Participants say, "Definitely running, yeah it will be fun, we get to donate a lot."
Over 100 people participated in the second annual 5-K Gobble Wobble.
