The big birds held up traffic and caused a ruckus after flying the coop in Sydney.
The emus breached a broken fence and escaped from an area being developed by a real estate company.
Emus are the largest birds native to Australia and are known for their snappy tempers — but they're not very street savvy and not usually found roaming the neighborhood.
The emus were finally rescued by a local man who lured them back behind the fence with food and repaired the hole in the fence.
