A Janesville man accused of rolling back car odometers and then selling those vehicles makes his first court appearance Tuesday.
 
 
Jeff Hagen,60,  faces one felony theft by swindle charge and three gross-misdemeanor counts.
Tuesday he entered a not guilty plea.

Hagen was released on $5,000 bail, but a judge ordered him to not have contact with any witnesses and he cannot leave the state without permission.

The felony theft charge he faces carries a maximum penalty of five years and a $10,000 fine. Hagen is due back in court January 8.
