Lawsuits in New Ulm B & B Fire Settled

The lawsuits are settled in a tragic fire that killed six people in a New Ulm Bed and Breakfast.

Back in July of 2011, a fire at the Bohemian Bed and Breakfast killed owner Bobbi McCrea and her two daughters  along with three guests that were staying at the Bed and Breakfast.

Jerry Maschka of Maschka, Riedy, and Ries tells News 12 that the five wrongful death claims against the McCrea estate were settled earlier this year, and that Monday's court action approved the distribution of monies to fire victims' families.  As part of that court action, a Brown County judge approved a request to keep information on the money's allocation and amounts confidential.
