NORTH MANKATO, Minn. -

The North Mankato community is holding a benefit for a family known for its selfless service in the community that's fallen on hard times. Moulton says, "It's just absolutely amazing, you don't realize how much people care until something like this happens, and then you really find out who your true friends are and I certainly know that now."

Tasha Moulton's husband suffered from multiple strokes this year, causing him to lose his vision. She works for two–nonprofit's, but neither offers health insurance. Her friends and family are holding a breakfast benefit and silent auction for her family tomorrow at Mankato's Evangelical Free Church. Organizer Naomi Hanson Chayer says, "She's not good at asking for help, so I budded in and said what can I do for you."

The event goes from 8 till noon tomorrow. If you would like to make a donation Wells Fargo has set up fund for the family called the Moulton Benefit account.
