MANKATO , MINN. -

It's a little slippery outside today, but that didn't stop people from running the Reindeer Dash and Santa Sprint. Just under 400 people participated in today's race. Participants had the option of running in the 1/8th–mile Santa sprint or the five k reindeer dash. Runner Jill Nolta says,  "Just the people the atmosphere dressed up and having fun. It's a lot more fun than the competitive races."

Nolta placed first in the run with a time of 20 minutes flat. She said the weather was really nice, but the course was a little slippery. The race started early this morning in Mankato and wrapped up this afternoon.
