Wells, MN -

An accident on Highway 109 Monday near Wells also turns fatal.

49-year-old Ronald Hinderman of Mankato died of his injuries after crashing head-on with another vehicle.

It happened Monday around 1:00 P.M. just south of Wells, shutting down the highway for more than 2 1/2 hours.

The Minnesota State Patrol says Hinderman was driving westbound and 23 year-old Jared Bowman of Albert Lea was driving eastbound when they collided head on. Bowman suffered minor injuries.
