Today kicks off a three–day conference on domestic violence at the Verizon Wireless Center. Modeled after St. Paul's Blueprint for Safety, the conference focuses on all the agencies involved in domestic violence. The St. Paul Blueprint for safety is a prototype to linking criminal justice agencies together in an intervention against domestic violence. Blueprint coordinator Robert Sutter hopes conferences will help close the gaps between the different agencies. Sutter says, "We want to give people the best tools they can to deal with these unique and specific problems to domestic violence."

The conference includes breakout sessions for dialogue and well–known speakers, including St. Paul's former Police Chief John Harrington.
