AUTHORITIES: A Mankato man faces assault charges after a reported incident Saturday night.

Just 15 days until Christmas and giving cards are still available to be picked up at all Holiday Sharing Tree locations.

Volunteers this season are giving 400 hours of their time wrapping presents and helping out those in need.

The gift-wrap center, located in the River Hills Mall near Target, will wrap any gift for a donation of $4.00.

All the proceeds go to funding the Holiday Sharing Tree program.

"Those cards sometimes go unpicked up or unfulfilled even though someone has every intention to give a holiday item to someone in need, we need money available to help fund those unmet needs and proceeds here take care of that," Volunteer for Holiday Sharing Tree, Tami Reuter said.

There is still time to pick up a card at the Holiday Sharing Tree locations. However, the gift needs to be dropped off by this Friday by 5 P.M.
