It appears Todd Hoffner is being reinstated as head football coach at MSU.

The Star Tribune also reporting: He will be suspended without pay for 20 days.

The University releasing a statement Wednesday raising questions as to whether this Hoffner situation is in fact over.

It contains no confirmation that Coach Hoffner has been reinstated.

The written statement states only that Hoffner's 'administrative leave ended on Monday, December 17, and he remains on the University's payroll.'

It goes on the say 'One complaint against the football coach was investigated and the investigation has been completed. One complaint against Mr. Hoffner is pending and is under investigation.'

It continues by citing the state's data practices act regarding personnel data, keeping that information private.

But media reports from the Star Tribune claim that Hoffner will receive a 20–day suspension without pay for improper use of his work–issued cell phone.

Last month, a judge threw out criminal charges against Hoffner, stating that the videos on his cell phone did not constitute child pornography.

The MSU statement says that Aaron Keen remains the acting head coach of the MSU football team at this time.
