MANKATO, MN -

Police are looking for a car stolen early this morning in Mankato. It happened around 6 O' clock on the 100 block of East Liberty St. when a man went out and started his car, left it unlocked and running...then went back inside to get ready for work. Jeremy Clifton, said, "Throughout the winter season and winter cold months, get a second spare set of keys and lock those doors. And keep a watchful eye on it when it's out there in your driveway or on the street in front of your home– running." The car is described as a 1992 Crown Victoria, Champagne color with Minnesota license plate 989–JPR. Anyone seeing this vehicle is asked to call 9–1–1.
