MANKATO , MINN. -
It was a beautiful sunny day out on the slopes, with a fair amount of customers. The recent snowstorm and consistent cold weather has almost all the runs open, bringing in some much–needed business. Mount Kato general manager Jeff Putrah says, "Well business has been a little slow but hopefully with the weather like it is today with some sunshine and Christmas break right around the corner things will pick up."
Putrah says Christmas break is one busiest times the season, and adds all the runs should be open and groomed by tomorrow. And for people that don't ski or board, the tubing area should be up and running by Wednesday.
