NORTH MANKATO, Minn. -

North Mankato resident Robin Courrier announces she will be seeking the DFL endorsement for State Representative in District 19A.  That district includes North Mankato and St Peter.

A Special Election will be called by Governor Dayton to fill this seat being vacated by Rep. Terry Morrow. Courrier is the first official candidate to announce.

She is currently the Lead Teacher of Bridges Community School for the Mankato Area Public Schools. She also serves as President for the Mankato Teachers' Association and is on Education Minnesota's Governing Board.

She resides in North Mankato with her husband and two children.
