Kay and Jeannie Ribbel, both American Red Cross volunteers, left for New York today to assist in client casework.
They are expected to be in New York for at least two weeks.
This will be the first deployment for both of the Ribbel sisters.
Sandy devastated large portions of the Northeast in October, it's required the biggest Red Cross response in the U.S. in the past five years.
To donate, people can visit www.redcross.org, call 1-800-RED-CROSS, or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
Contributions may also be sent to your local Red Cross chapter.
